PANDA DUB (in concert)
A poster concept for a concert by Panda Dub for my local youth club "Nootuitgang".
The concert didn't take place in the end, which is too bad because I would have loved to see this poster printed on A2.
The panda was made in Cinema 4D by drawing triangles over a 2D image of a panda in front-view, and then extending the points of those triangles frontward and backward to create the low-poly effect.

The first poster was plain black and white, this is the version I personally love the most. The client wanted a more "reggae feel" though so I started experimenting with earthy textures and reggae colors.
The text and composition was all done in Adobe Illustrator.

Here I replaced the background with a simple earth texture and added subtle reggae colored elements to aid the "reggae feel".
Here I kept the reggae elements, but kept the black background because I actually really liked the contrast of the panda on the black background. I also gave the panda face-paint because I thought it would be a good idea (it's not).
