Branding, Visual Identity
iOLANi eyewear, a Munich-based startup for eyewear and eyewear-jewellery, asked us to rethink their brand identity and corporate identity. The initial formatting of the lower case "i"s should be kept, while giving it a unique branding and reworking the packaging / package design. Additionally we developed a simple iconography-system, which was based on the abstracted forms of glasses - a symbol for their product - and a flower - a symbol of their inspiration. The flower was derived from the brand's name "Iolani", which originally comes from Hawaii, giving a link to the initial start of the brand.
