Mission E4 founders Scott and Tanya Long lived in Haiti for four years as full-time missionaries. They returned to the United States in early 2005 to form DELTA Force, a youth program, and then Mission E4. DELTA Force was pulled in to be a part of Mission E4 after that. The name “Mission E4,” they explain, is derived from the Bible, specifically Ephesians Chapter 4, verses 11-13.
