This was a project I loved doing! I am a textiles artist who is fascinated by the rhythmic flow and pattern in Braille. I wanted to create playful designs for the visually impaired so that they can appreciate the arts as much as the sighted, making it more inclusive and tactile.
To construct these pieces and achieve the required raised surfaces, I have used French knot hand embroidery and screen printing techniques.
I have been socially aware for many years following in my dad’s footsteps doing many things for charity and I feel that this has inspired me to research and explore textiles in a whole new light.

If your intrested in what they say, send me a message! Some of them are a little rude to publish...
