Basing on my own observations in relation to everyday objects, I considered the multi-sensory experience of the form and our way of interacting with the environment. Within my diploma I carried out ceramic workshops for the blind group, exploring the sense of touch.

After analyzing created works, I reflected several elements in experimental ceramic cups.
I tried to reach the basics of a cup by resigning from the standard shapes known in our times. I asked myself questions related to the functionalism way of thinking. The intention was to undermine and criticize the everyday solutions to find the basis of an object.

The diploma project has become an extensive research work, opening up many possible directions for further development. I found theoretical base in functionalism ideas,           the theory of five senses and synesthetic design.
