In this project, we were challenged to space letterforms correctly using Walter Tracy’s technique for spacing as a guide. We were challenged to space our names, “Typography”, “LETTERING”, “ALPHABETS”, “Egyptian”, and “Oldstyle”. We used two typefaces, a Serif and a san serif. I was randomly assigned a serif, Goudy and a san serif, Futura. I learned a lot about letter-spacing through this project.
