In 1999, a PC game was released that left an indelible mark on my soul: Homeworld.

Its bold, unified aesthetic experience and tightly integrated narrative formed an unforgettable gestalt and serves to this day as a powerful example of what the medium is capable of.

Almost twenty years later, it is still widely regarded as a magnum opus.
