In 2012, NIFT has completed its 25th year. On the eve of silver jubilee celebration, we participated in official calendar making competition.
The name given is 'UTKARSH' meaning ' Peek of Evolution". As the theme was -'A day in the life of India', we chose twelve day in the history of India which is related to textile and has contributed in the development of textile art in India.
