A series of matte paintings
I got a project to make a set of illustrations of Hell for a local film company. So I decided to do a series of matte paintings. My concept of Hell is not about burning flame, but it's about a sad place where the damned souls are put to mourn about their deaths. The series consist of the temple, giant's head as the Hell's gate, a suicide place for people who committed suicide by jumping from a building, the treasure room, and the Hell's overall.
