Drawn in a panoramic concertina sketchbook bought in Beijing. This was drawn a few years ago during a trip to Tibet where I was teaching workshops on 'creative design process' to Tibetan artisans as part of a project by UNDP. As I worked on the book I began using a photocopy shop to make copies of photographs i'd taken. One day the copy machine ran out of ink, the shopkeeper wanted to throw the copies away but i loved the wierd stripey effects and they made their way into my sketchbook.
