FORGE54 + Ocean Institute
"On the weekend of October 6 - 8th, 2017, 100+ marketing industry professionals gathered for the fifth annual Forge54 skilled-giving event. In 2017, efforts benefitted the Ocean Institute, a nonprofit organization located in Dana Point that builds a deeper appreciation for the ocean and a better understanding of marine life. More than 250,000 people visit Ocean Institute each year to take part in the 60+ educational and enjoyable programs offered.
Our teams elevated their existing marketing efforts by revamping their brand, logo, strategy, and website. Additional materials that were created are: videos, campaign templates, 3D maps, a mobile app, and social media posts to be used in the future. Brand and messaging guidelines and a turnkey solution were created for easy ongoing implementation."

My part in this project was working on branding. Creating patterns inspired by coral, marine life, and the ocean, I came up with a pattern and color system that could be used across all branding materials. I also designed the UI mockups for the Mobile Kiosk app. The materials below were created collaboratively with the rest of the brand redesign team.

The Ocean Institute Rebrand was a truly collaborative process. Our team included seasoned veterans as well as individuals just starting their careers. This project could not have been successful without the hard work of my teammates mentioned below.
