Enactus World Cup 2017

This year, we set out to honor the top Enactus projects from all the 36 national champion teams around the world this year in a unique and foundational way. Custom artwork was created to represent each Enactus project and the impact through entrepreneurial action. These visual panels were then added to the beautifully diverse Enactus tapestry, representing the countless social enterprise solutions from around our incredible network.
In the above project, students in South Africa identified struggling potters and redirected the women’s businesses toward crafting ceramic water filters that address the community’s need for access to clean drinking water.

A pattern was created drawing from the Mukondeni project. Polluted and clean water are intertwined with the pottery inspired from the project to create the South Africa panel. From there, the triangle is hand-painted and scanned back in. When combined with the original vector art, the final gold panel is complete and ready to be used throughout the event branding.
Above are all the 2017 entries into the Enactus tapestry—from Australia to Zimbabwe.

The original inked panels were then framed and given to each team on the opening night of the event as both a keepsake and a visual reminder of their project's creativity and impact.
To further bring these stories to life, each of the 36 stories of impact were then included as part of a physical installation centering around all the creative entrepreneurial solutions from Enactus students around the world. The installation revolved visually around the country panel, placed and highlighted in the broader Enactus tapestry. Each entry included a photo of the project, the written story behind the photo, as well as the impact numbers of reach for that particular project. Visually anchoring each country was a prop representing that project, including items such as a custom-made portable stove, soaps, charcoal and recycled computer parts.
An abridged version of the stories of impact installation was also introduced in the walkway from the tube as a teaser to direct people upstairs to the full gallery.
The project stories were then further brought to light as subtle stories on the tapestry background throughout much of the event signage.
Using this foundation, we brought out the rest of the event's visuals in that spirit.
