Try to imagine what every drop of blood in a human body would look like filling a sphere in front of you. Imagine no longer.
Volunteers donated their blood to fill this 9.5 inch diameter glass sphere accommodating 1.5 gallons—the approximate volume of sanguine liquid in an average 185 pound man. Compared to a person a drop is relatively small, but in relation to it’s life-giving essence it is enormous.
I hope “Drop” will stimulate conversation about the value of blood, and encourage you to donate your blood to help others.
