The St. Louis Momentum office has being hosting an internal chili cook-off for 21 years. Each competition is framed within a theme, and over the years it's covered everything from the red carpet to horror movies to decades past. For 2017's cook-off we decided to work in fairy tales and fables: Beauty and the Feast, Jack and the Beano, Snow White Chili. To accompany the whimsical feel of children's stories, the creative pieces imitated papercut artwork.
All illustrations were done in Procreate on an iPad Pro with an Apple Pencil. The files were then exported into Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for making small adjustments, and adding texture and depth.
