AMBLY

When I was a child I got diagnosed with Amblyopia. Within my childhood, I refused to wear a medical eye plaster. This was mainly due to aesthetic reasons, which are connected with physical and mental pain. I regret this decision. Today I rely on my glasses and if I don’t wear them I see double pictures.

Since the last few decades, these medical eye plasters have developed further through better material and Design, but in my opinion still not enough.

Through this magazine, I draw attention to Amblyopia and visualize different information about it. I show different perspectives and life-stages of interview partners in their childhood and further course of their life’s.

In addition to that, I’m presenting my idea for a new, innovative and sustainable product.

AMBLY – The Eye Patch for Children

Through this product, I want that all children of today shouldn’t regret a physical or mental aesthetic decision in the future.
