This photograph was in response to an assignment titled Potent Place. Working in pairs, we were asked to explore the potentials of changing the reality of a place through the use of collage and photo editing. The photograph we produced contrasts the familiar with the bizarre, communicating the comfortable feeling of being home but placed in an unusual, almost mystical, environment. This work was nominated for the Shiekha Manal Young Artist Award of 2016.
