I was asked by Powershop to create an eye catching contemporary window display for their Masterton call centre. The theme was 'Power to the people' so I thought it would be cool to use the concept of humans piloting giant Kaiju. Each panel is part of a comic narrative with Gamera emerging from the Wairarapa side and Kong leaping across from Wellington. When they meet in the middle Tea Wei created the human interior and they fist bump when the doors open and close. The artwork was inked by hand to replicate the classic comics from the 1960's but with a modern twist. The final artwork was printed on large scale vinyl and applied to the windows.
