Berraco Barbecue

Branding
Berraco is a BBQ restaurant located in Mexico. Based on the classic western story of 'Indians vs Cowboys',  this project takes the consumer to a new place communicating 'less about 'Howdy' and more about 'Hao!'
Since the word 'Berraco' means 'Brave' for some SouthAmerican cultures, Indian American paraphernalia suits better as an identifiable southwestern graphic language and a graphic solution to avoid all the cliches in the category.

How many forks you see in the logo? A headdress made out of forks pinching bbq ribs, a piece of brisket, and a fire place, works together along with an slanted Serif custom lettering, as well as a monoline custom script in a fire color palette with golden finishes.
On secondary side, 3 version of the core logo were crafted as well as patterns inspired by the Indian American clothes, enhancing every application in the restaurant, making this brand ownable, flexible and playful.
The other concepts / logos that didn't make it....
