Mara Hair Studio
Located in historic downtown Fairfax, Virginia, Mara is among the top hair studios in the Washington, DC region. I worked with founder Jana Klavina to create an identity that references her Latvian background with a modern twist.
The primary mark and patterns are based on a traditional Latvian symbol called the Mara Cross, from which the studio derives its name.
In need of an elegant web experience, I designed and developed a responsive single-page website for Mara. The site highlighted client testimonials and images, emphasizing the personal aspect of the brand and the emotional connection clients have with Mara.
