STG Executive Chairman Presents on Issues Facing CFS

A commercial-oriented logistics executive, Chris Jamroz has a track record of transformative leadership and shareholder value creation. Currently the CEO of St. George Logistics Holdings and the Executive Chairman of St. George Logistics (STG), Chris Jamroz was invited to speak at the Baird 2017 Private Company Technology and Services Conference held on February 22, 2017, in New York, New York.

Baird’s second annual conference showcased presenting executives from more than 35 private companies in industries including business process outsourcing, consumer and retail, education, energy, technology, finance, and human capital management. Attendees had direct access to industry leaders at one-on-one meetings, joint dinners, and networking events.

At the event, Jamroz spoke about STG’s strategy to combat the problems facing US customer freight services (CFS) and its plan to create value in the supply chain. STG is the largest provider of outsourced CFS in North America and a top warehouse and distribution services provider. According to Jamroz, the US CFS industry has been challenged in recent years. Higher operational costs, made worse by excess capacity and increased supply chain challenges, have created a competitive business environment. He argued that the industry was in need of significant modernization and consolidation.
