Η Μέρα πριν τη Δευτέρα-The Day before Monday
The idea
Back in 2013 there was a competition run by the first incubator in Greece, offering a working space for 8 months. So at that time I was studying something totally irrelevant to what I'm doing right now but I really wanted to participate, and that's what I did. I found an old collection of analogue photographs depicting Athens that I always wanted to work with and just started my project. It would be a Sunday walk, starting from the idle morning to the depressing evening. The process was really rough because back then I was working super analogically, the most digital thing was the use of scanner and basic photoshop. First I designed my two characters and then I put the photos in the right order to create my environment. After I've places the characters in my environment I just had to write...and I did wrote the whole thing in one try it only took me a morning and I almost didn't change anything, probably the story was already written in my head. Long story short, I won one of the prizes and probably this was the beginning of what I'm doing now.
