Men have no final answers to questions about time structure. We visualized one of the versions of reality, which has a multi-dimensional space, where "bugs", "errors" or "messages" are possible. We were interested to explore how two completely different eras can intertwist. While Rijksmuseum exhibits a huge number of man-made art of past centuries, our era rightfully will be called the beginning of the digital age. We wanted to make video based on the painting by Gabriel Metsu 'Woman Eating, Known as ' The Cat's Breakfast', but not replicate the picture and follow the historicism in costume. Our tale is an attempt to expand the scale of conventional painting and make a time machine trip to the Netherlands of the 17th century, and mix past with the future in the same way like Rijksmuseum does.
Video was produced in January 2017. Before shooting we were inspired by ‘string theory’ in physics, and picture of the compressed reality.
