This is one project that I truly enjoyed doing. I worked at the newspaper office in my hometown when I was in high school, so editorial design was fun to get back into. A little about me, I really love watching golf, its fascinating to me and so I thought what better than another golf magazine. I know that the three men I chose to feature are important figures in the sport so I used Photoshop to create the cover and InDesign to assemble the rest. Green as the main color in this was fairly obvious since golfers don't often tee-up on a blue course, and I wanted it to be bright and cheerful. I also added the background of a golf ball to add some texture because as far as some people know, golf is boring, so I wanted to add something that was relevant but not scenery.
