Boulder is a wax-flat-iron. Its ergonomic shape could remind one of a stone or a boulder (which led to the creation of its name). The name was also inspired by the fixtures on the rock-climbing walls. These two factors also led to its final design which, with its shape and control simplicity, supports the essence of using the flat-iron. It is very easy to handle the Boulder comfortably from both sides thanks to its round shape. Its simplicity is also supported by the use of only 2 buttons that are market with signs +/-. Using these buttons, you can regulate temperature. Its intensity is visible on 5 diodes that start to glow together with increasing heat.
The default colour combination is light black/grey with red. In addition, there is a possibility of white, or the inverse colour of red together with black complements. Boulder is a connection of plastic with metal. The heating is separated by an isolation layer that leads the heat away so the user is safer. Furthermore, a rubber that has a double function is used. It leads away the remaining heat and serves as a “wall” that supports the safety of the user.

Boulder je voskovací žehlička, která svým ergonomickým tvarem připomíná jakýsi kámen či balvan. Z toho také pochází inspirace. Tu ještě podporuje tvar chytů na horolezeckých stěnách. Kombinací právě těchto dvou inspiračních faktorů vznikl finální design, který svou tvarovou i ovládací jednoduchostí určuje podstatu práce s voskovací žehličkou. Díky oblému tvaru ji lze velmi pohodlně uchopit z jakékoliv strany. Její jednoduchost podtrhují pouze dvě tlačítka ovládání, která jsou značena piktogramy tvaru + a –. Těmito tlačítky se reguluje teplota. Její intenzitu lze sledovat na pěti světelných diodách, které se rozsvěcují s přibývajícím teplem.
Základní barevnost je kombinace lesklé černé/šedé s červenou. Dále je zde varianta bílé, či inverzní barevnost červené s černými doplňky. Jedná se o spojení plastu s kovem, přičemž topná je od držadla oddělena izovalční vrstvou, která odvádí teplo. Dalé je zde zakomponována guma, která má dvojí funkci. Odvádí zbytkové teplo a působí jako jakási „stěna“,která zabraňuje případnému styku prstů s topnou plochou.
