〰 Zine-making workshop
Électron Libre is a zine-making workshop I organised and hosted in partnership with ArteFactura, an association that was created in Toulouse early 2017. We worked together to create a space where everyone can have a voice and use it to participate to the graphic conversations. It was a good opportunity to try various mediation techniques to observe the reactions of our participants and to grow from there. The first edition of the workshop gathered 15 participants and was centered around one main theme which was "Femininities". The plural of the term was important to us as we wanted to discuss the diversity of definitions that the feminine aspect can take on.
I took care of the graphic communication of the event and also of the editorial design of the final printed versions of the zine. It was a very interesting process to go through that involved mediation, team-work and the design of a whole graphic and editorial identity.
The binding technique - the golden fastener - we used became a recurrent element of the overall editorial identity, allowing the participants to remove the sheets, adapt the arrangement of the pages or use them as posters enhancing their original size.
