For the Art My Jozi community showcase exhibition, I was given the honour of laying out a book of poetry by Mantala Nkoatse and Bash Hops, written over the course of the project. Along with the poems in plain text format, I was given scans of the poets' journals and drawings to curate and include in the layout at my discretion. The client also supplied me with beautiful documentary photographs by Zivanai Matangi and complete creative freedom.
This was a complete dream project, and a really fun opportunity to flex my (terribly underused) editorial design muscles.
