I made this book in response to a brief which was based on the book Love In The Time of Cholera.
The use of birds in the book is used to represent a threat or impending danger. I picked out all the quotes
which mentioned birds from the book and hand cut feathers out of every other page, with a fibrous black
paper inbetween.
