Mural for Clash of Clans art project
In the Clash World at the end of every battle, win or lose, when the time is up every character bursts into globs of purple elixir. While playing this game I've watched thousands of these little yellow haired dudes charge fearlessly into battle against all sorts of crazy enemies and I've wondered that given every barbarian is identical, do they share memories? And are they aware of their explosive destiny?
My goal was to highlight that single intense moment that the barbarian seems to live through over and over: The split second before he pops from existence to non-existence, Time and time again no matter how hard he fought or how brave he lived, he is destined to explode.
The Mural is in four pieces of equal height (approx 8ft) and varying lengths on Sunset Blvd in LA.
