A glimpse into Bombay's party scene from the 1930's sculpted on the edit.

The Bombay canteen wanted to create a video inviting guests to its 2nd cocktail party, with a promise to get down and boogey circa Bombay 1930's (The art deco era)

My role was to look at footage shot for the previous event and transport viewer into that era. 

I looked trough the internet for a documentary produced in the the 1930's that did a few rounds on social media.    

I got to work cutting up the narrative to tell the story I wanted to tell. Cleaning up music from the narrative, setting up a colour tone, re-sculpting the narrative, setting music, conceptualisation and of course the edit were all roles I took to bring this piece to fruition.
