Final San Serif and Serif Designs
The assignment for Art 230 Project 01 was to create two topographic compositions. One, san serif - Neue Haas Grotesque Bold and the other, serif - Stemple Garamond Roman. Each design was required to have 5 to eight unique glyphs, at least two black and two white. The idea was to create a composition that has a focal point, alignment, repetition, and uses negative space well while using a variety of shapes in different sizes to create an interesting design.
