Lego Ideas - The Magic School Bus

This is my idea for a Lego Magic School Bus that I submitted to Lego Ideas.com.
Lego Ideas is a program run by LEGO that lets people post and share their ideas for potential Lego sets. Other people can support any set that they like and would want to see (or have) as an actual set. When the project reaches 10,000 supporters it goes into a review by actual Lego staff and designers based on their own criteria for judging their sets. Once (and if) the project is approved it is sold worldwide for everyone to enjoy.

This project is based off the 1994 TV show (and book series) of the same name and features Ms. Frizzle and her whole class, and has enough pieces to 'transform' the bus into four different modes.

I used a program called Lego Digital Designer to build this set, which allows the user to freely build Lego's with an unlimited supply of pieces available. Lego Digital Designer is free to use and download.

I used a program called Bluerender to render the 'semi'-realistic photos as I felt that the conversion between LDD and Bluerender was the easiest to use, and it would not fry my laptop as other more sophisticated programs might do. Bluerender was free to download and use.

I had a lot of fun building this set and am rather pleased with the results.

This idea is currently gathering supporters on LegoIdeas.com
