NEW PRODUCT AND PATTERN DEVELOPMENT

Powerpoint presentation created with layouts and concepts for the program. Prior to presentation a color palette was selected and agreed upon with the customer. All concepts went through a preliminary technical review with cross-functional teams to ensure manufacturability and delivery of products. Colors needed to be developed across multi processes and substrates to adhere to the program requirements.
Final pattern and layout chosen for the program. The decorated program included 10 inch plate, 8 inch plate, pasta bowl and soup bowl. As technical leader of the project, I had to overcome printing restrictions to ensure manufacturabilty of all items. In the pre-production development, the one color pattern was designed to print with two screens to overcome technical printing restrictions. In the testing stage of the process this yielded significant quality results that ensured success of the program.
Program was launched on October 30 on HSN with great success. As Senior Graphic Designer I was responsible for all aspects of the pre-production, ensuring technical requirements were met and color conformity and quality assurance across multi-process platforms of the coordinated items in the program.
New program launched in fall of 2012. Coordinated solid color and pattern program. As technical lead - ensured all patterns and solid color items met color conformity requirements as well as quality assurance within the manufacturing process.
