TRAVEL3 BACKPACK

The Travel3 backpack was a class project made for the ethical upcycling company Koopera. We had to design a product made with used or rejected products that were given to Koopera. The objective was to make something to be produced by employers with social issues in Koopera  headquarters.  

The Travel3 Backpack was made entirely with old jeans and some other materials like old yoga mats. Features 3 carry modes: backpack, briefcase and messenger bag. It has tuckable straps, 2-direction zippers and shoulder strap.

The prototype was made by myself with no previous machine sewing knowledge. Some color details were added. The label shows the importance of the process, the people involved and the benefits of the ethical upcycling, making an emotional connection with the final user.
