Выставление кордона из противотанковых ежей – в практическом смысле, наиболее эффективный способ отразить наступление тяжелой военной техники. В символическом же смысле – это стремление защититься от вторжения самой войны в жизнь отдельного человека, семьи, страны. Война не ограничена зонами боевых действий, и даже находясь от нее в сотнях, тысячах километров, мы чувствуем ее болезненную близость, давление отравленного ею воздуха. Война проникает в повседневные разговоры, в мысли и сны, в отношения и работу, в душу, постепенно становится их неотъемлемой частью. Мы стараемся оградить свой микрокосм от вируса войны, но все наши попытки защититься от него так же наивны и эфемерны, как противотанковые ежи, сделанные из бумаги, под гусеницами многотонных бронированных машин.

Проект «Захист» (Защита) - это цепь из белых бумажных противотанковых ежей. Реализован в рамках зимнего фестиваля ленд-арта «Мифогенез» в феврале 2017 года. Ежи были установлены с заснеженной стороны холма утром и со стороны, очищенной от снега, вечером. Соответственно, в зависимости от локации, проект приобрел две совершенно разных ипостаси. «Утренний» проект - концептуальный, в то время, как «вечерний» - когда бумажные конструкции размокли в снегу и деформировались - абстрактно-каллиграфический.

The erection of a cordon of anti-tank hedgehogs is, in practical terms, the most effective way to repel the onset of heavy military equipment. In a symbolic sense, it is the desire to defend itself from the intrusion of the war itself into the life of an individual, family, or country. The war is not limited to the zones of military operations, and even being from it in hundreds, thousands of kilometers, we feel its painful closeness, the pressure of the air poisoned by it. War penetrates into everyday conversations, in thoughts and dreams, in relationships and work, into the soul, gradually becomes their integral part. We try to protect our microcosm from the war virus, but all our attempts to defend ourselves against it are just as naive and ephemeral as anti-tank hedgehogs made of paper under the caterpillars of armored vehicles.
Project Defense is a chain of white paper anti-tank hedgehogs. It was realized within the framework of the winter festival of Land-art "Mythogenesis" in February 2017. The hedgehogs were installed from the snowy side of the hill in the morning and from the side, cleared of snow, in the evening. Accordingly, depending on the location, the project has acquired two completely different faces. "Morning" project - conceptual, while "evening" - when paper constructions were soaked in the snow and deformed - is abstract-calligraphic.
