A plastic mesh is extruded, oriented, expanded or tubular. Plastic mesh can be made from polypropylene, polyethylene, nylon, PVC or PTFE. A metal mesh can be woven, welded, expanded, photo-chemically etched or electroformed (screen filter) from steel or other metals.
