The proposal, initiallyappearing as a mass of prisms scattered across the green areas of the Bulebelindustrial estate is in fact a design aiming to further strengthen the motto ofB.I.E.T.A (Bulebel Industrial Estate Tenants Association). Founded on a voluntarybasis in 1998, to promote a better environment in the estate, the organizationbelieves that “Together we Achieve”.
Constituting of single independent tetrahedrons, theunits as seen in isolation are a representation of the various factoriesforming part of the estate. They each depict the individual contributionprovided by both the employers and employees, this reaching its full potentialas they act together, simultaneously forming a strong network. The assembly hasbeen designed to specifically illustrate the movement of each individual moduleas it transforms from frame to solid and makes it way to combine into onestrong and unified entity, this representative of the ideal situation B.I.E.T.Ais striving to achieve.
The project was alsodeveloped upon two essential concepts. The first was of modularity which wouldallow for an easy construction. The second was of versatility. Constructed of 4equilateral faces, the modules’ form allow for flexible re-configurationsfurther emulating the ever changing nature of technology and along with it thechanges of the industry.
