A complete renovation and restoration of a 1970 Bay House. Kept its original structure which retained the charm of this rustic tropical environment. Surrounded by (50) 100ft. palm trees, a bamboo forest and a field of ferns, we extended a new deck and move the stairs that blocked the view to the side of the house. Restored the dock that goes out into the bay that was destroyed by the many storms. Installed all new Anderson hurricane windows and did away with the popcorn ceilings. Upgraded the electric with Legrand touch plates and installed two different heating systems.
We dug a drainage system around the house so when it rains it would not flood the grounds and garage.
Restored the front stairs by doing away with a heavy railing that was not needed on one side. Opened up the garage by adding Barn Doors that sets a view through the house from the Bamboo to the water that also lets air flow through the garage. Replaced the old garage door and restored the old lights with led tubes and bulbs.
The exterior wood near the bay was replaced with top grade cedar that was also used for the custom designed railings mixed with cables. New screens were replaced on the deck facing the water. Fans were installed in every room.
Restored and upgraded the powder room and installed vanities that show to infinity. Added a custom stainless-steel kitchen island with a 3” wood top to match the interiors of a 10year-old high-end kitchen with wolf and sub-zero appliances.
Weeded the bamboo and ferns and planted Areca Palms to screen the neighbors. Beautiful wild flowers are growing near the mangroves and the wild palms were trimmed and became important to the coastline.
