Constructed in conjunction with Landmark Healthcare Facilities as the developer, Tampa General Hospital's flagship outpatient center is a first-of-its kind outpatient center in the Tampa area aimed at expanding Tampa General Hospital's presence in the community.  By increasing access to health and patient outreach into the Brandon area suburb the medical center aims to support population health through its variety of services. It is one of the first facilities in Florida to house the wide variety of different outpatient services in one building; ranging from Emergency Department & Outpatient Surgery to Pediatricians.

Sited prominently along a major Tampa-area expressway, the exterior is both modern and functional—admitting light into the building at optimal locations. The main entry façade’s gentle curves soften the technologically advanced building drawing inspiration from the gentle waves that surround the Tampa General main campus on Davis Island. The thin wings surrounding the curving facade are intended to enclose and frame the building, heightening the dramatic effect of the curving glass. The simple colors of the building are selected to echo the Tampa General main campus facades and extend the Tampa General brand across the greater community. The fritted glass canopies provide cover and shading, while at the same time creating a sense of openness, welcoming patients and visitors to the building.

The interior spaces are open and modern, drawing inspiration from contemporary commercial spaces, invoking a sense of peace and hospitality throughout the building. Wood ceilings provide a sense of warmth, and allow the muted tones of the flooring to be set off through the use of brightly colored furniture and artwork. Not only does it house nearly everything a patient needs at one location, the retail-like, bright and open atmosphere supports a positive human experience.
