Mashrabiya Notebooks for Kuwaiti concept brand Zeri Crafts
Design of commercial notebooks and bamboo bookmark for Kuwaiti brand Zeri Crafts.
The laser diecut pattern is inspired by hanbaliyas from bedouine Sadu crafts, forming a play of light and shadow much like mashrabiyas, the lattice work typical of Arabic architecture. Artisanal gilded edges in gold foil give it a premium status, and the square format, natural proportion of the brand’s identity, distinguish these from other notebooks. Available colors are sand, aqua and red sadu.
