Today's UI exercise involved building an app icon. There are so many things to consider when building something that'll be as small as an app icon on your phone. It has to be instantly recognizable and easy to remember. It should also set itself apart from other app icons (which, on iOS at least, usually just means not being blue).

This icon would be for an app for a....ahem, competing visual design portfolio platform.
