Move Closer is an interactive installation, tackling the current issues exist in the social attitude towards Down’s syndrome. In a world that advocates equality and giving each individual the same rights regardless of their backgrounds, people with Down’s syndrome are still struggling in finding their place in society. Our limited exposure to information has prevented us from knowing what Down’s syndrome really is.

I have reached out to the Down’s syndrome community and collected the family stories that we seldom encounter with, which further used as the main message in this project.

Move Closer is allowing people to better understand this condition by looking beyond the stereotypes and discovering the facts and true stories of Down’s syndrome.
