Title: Gold fish is a household pet
Technique: Photoshop
Process: This image was created using an image of a gold fish, water from the ocean and a photograph I took for the series of texture and pattern. The water has reduced opacity to still show the pebbles, and appears unlike a beach with a goldfish in the water.
Reasoning: This manipulation was created in addition to pattern and texture, with the use of a photograph showing pattern within the pebbles, the water creates a realistic beach paradise, but the goldfish is out of place. The goldfish addition allows the viewer to question reality.
Reflection: These manipulations were fun to make, and the aim for this image was to make it unrealistic promoting thought process and reasoning from the viewer.

Title: Passionate about climate change
Technique: This image was created originally using low ISO and high aperture. The editing in this image was used with the world and the heart that appears on Aaron's left side.
Process: To create this resolved image the picture of the world and heart were copied over to the original image via the magic wand tool and changed in opacity, depending on how prominent I wanted them to be in the piece.
Reasoning: This image is close to my heart as it allows the viewer to consider the weight of the world, and the passion seen using the heart character.
Reflection: I found this image challenging due to the image originally being too bright, once this was fixed adding the images of both the heart and the world was quite easy, but changing the size of the world was the most intricate detail.

Title: Daisy
Technique: This image was originally from experimentation while taking photographs documenting the EKKA. The image was created using low ISO, for a crisp resolution.
Process: This manipulation was made using an original image, with a daisy imported and attached to the top of the rollercoaster. I wanted the daisy to be as bright as the photograph.
Reasoning: The daisy manipulation was created as the shape of the spinning rollercoaster is flower like. By attaching a daisy to a part of the rollercoaster the viewer should then be able to see the shape common in both the daisy and the rollercoaster image.
Reflection: 'Daisy' is my personal favourite of all manipulations as it has a crisp finish, with high resolution.

Title: Self Confidence
Technique: This image was created using high ISO and long shutter speed to provide noise in the image. Nick, the subject was shaking his head to achieve this image. Photoshop was also used to put the lion on Nick's face.
Process: The resolved image was made black and white to provide more shadow. The lion was imported to the original image and diluted by changing the opacity, to remain in the background. The head of the lion was cut out using the magic wand tool and placed directly onto where Nick's face would be.
Reasoning: The reasoning behind this image, was all about self confidence. Nick is shaking his head, the image is dark and moody, but the lion symbolises strength.
Reflection: Importing the lion onto Nick's face was the hardest transition as getting all of the lions features with the magic wand tool was extremely difficult.

Title: Wood and Glass
Technique: This image used two texture and pattern experimentation images that were not used in that series of work. The green glass was copied over to the wood image and the opacity was lowered. By doing this the wood appears green and shiny in some areas.
Process: Putting 2 completely different materials together creates a very different image. This image was created with the aid of Photoshop. The green glass was put on top of the wood and the opacity was reduced to show the two materials together.
Reasoning: This image was created due to the fact that the textures in the material were vastly different. The final resolved manipulation further develops onwards from the series of texture and patterns.
Reflection: The manipulation of these two images was the easiest, with only a few steps to create the resolved piece. Overall very happy with how different the two materials were and how they contrast and harmonise together.
