Oil Painting, 2017, Commission

The commission was to make a painting with music as a theme. Since it was for a family home, the concept of developing a concept centered in portrait (family portrait) came to mind. Each family member is represented by an musical instrument, and the atmosphere reflecting the music genres appreciated by them. 

I wanted to make a big painting and at the same time something versatile that could change and spread to more devisions of the house, different combinations an mutable piece.
The all composition is made of 7 individual paintings that can survive by themselves or be reorganized, placed apart or together in different groups, becoming a puzzle and sort of mutable painting.
