This is a pottery technique that creates the cracked texture used a canon 700 D close up function to capture this beautiful work of art, that is not mine. 

I thought this was a coconut or something natural, This is actually a peice by Luke Mansini of Relik Designs

Becoming obsessed with textures and patterns now... the dried up bottlebrush from a discarded bunch of native flowers. I used the canon 700 D close-up setting on this image and plan to recreate it in an illustration. 

This will also make a beautiful illustration, I love the contrast of that pinky red and the soft grey green.  Used the canon 700D close-up setting.
