Savá is a healthy pick up and go restaurant that opened in Rio de Janeiro around 2016, specialized in serving deliciously healthy diet alternatives for busy people who need to eat on the go. I was hired to create their brand identity as a whole, with an extensive range of deliverables, including stationary, employee uniforms, menus, packaging, delivery bags, etc... The objective of this project was to create a modern and sophisticated brand identity that was diverse enough to cover a wide array of products and was aimed to attract busy, high income people, who wanted to maintain a healthy daily diet.
Inside the restaurant there was a huge feature wall, decorated with a geometric pattern composed of triangles made out of tiles, that was the pride and joy of the owners. It was designed by one of the associates, and they put it together themselves one tile at a time.
Seeing how important that wall was to them, I decided to make it an integral part of the brand's identity, touching everything in their product line with that pattern, and making it a key identification aspect of their packaging.
For the logo itself I went with a clean typographical approach, something minimalistic to harmonize well with the busier pattern. The brackets were added to direct attention towards the restaurant's name, but became such a strong identifying mark, that they were later applied to some elements of the brand identity as sort of a stamp/ abbreviation of the logo itself.
So that is about it guys & gals, feel free to use the comments below to let me know what you thought of my solutions for this project, I would love to read your feedback! Cheers :)
