How it all Began
It was on a Sunday afternoon, my younger sister Joyce and I were having a chat and we began to talk about the Bible, its characters, and stories. In the midst of the conversation, I felt a desire to help Christians go deeper into the Word of God. But I was merely a graphic designer who had a ended bible school. A burden was laid on my heart as I pondered what I could do to help.
As I was looking at various designs on the Internet, I thought, “what if I combined the bible with design?” What if the Word of God was presented in a visually attractive way while staying true to the Bible? Would this get people to rediscover the Bible? Suddenly I was filled with excitement that I was on to something new.
It seemed natural to begin with the Book of Beginnings, Genesis. And as I read each chapter several times, I saw the beautiful literary style in which it was written. Suddenly the Word of God became alive and began to speak to me in my personal life. I believe that every word in the Bible is there for a reason and sometimes I would be reading the same chapter for days, seeking God to reveal the ‘hidden gems’ in His Word. Soon I started to fall in love with the Word of God all over again. I hope that this book will be a blessing to you and may God be glorified!
