Biplane White

Biplane White is a two-step promotional concept intended to reach both aviators and wine lovers alike.
The first step was to design and craft a flying machine. This aircraft sculpture was modeled after the Waco biplane and made entirely of items found in the kitchen, including a green sangria bottle, plastic pie server, wire steamer basket, cooling racks, a whisk and cork.
For step two I drew inspiration from my model aircraft to create the promotional piece, Biplane White. The wine bottle labels were intended to mimic the aesthetic of the model biplane's wings. They are made entirely of hand-weeded black and white vinyl and wrap the full circumference of the bottles.
