    The project ECR (Electric Cafe Racer) parts from re-modelling a Honda Cafe Racer 125cc, transforming it from an engine oil system to a powered electric battery system. My part was first to design a chassis to protect the battery and the motor, on the other hand bring a nice design and build a baggage system also without losing to much from the bike style and space. Then came the second alternative for the main design, to build a structure to be produced either on steel or aluminium and to make the cost of the plastics moulds cheaper. Also, the design will change abruptly, so following an idea suggested by Alex Guliyants, of what they were looking for, I decided to make it more aggressive, beautiful, and useful also. Model Electric Cafe Racer 1 - is designed with the needs in mind, "Protection", "Design", "Useful". Build over a Honda 125cc Cafe Racer, with an electric motor, the bike won't have the classic beauty of the engine exposed, but that doesn't mean it won't be beautiful. This first alternative has a front grill protection with air intake circulation design ( I was not asked to create an air ventilation system, so I did it to fill the empty spaces and for me to have a better understanding of how the airflow will move), laterals with air intake on the top front, and for last a third part side plastic with a small compact baggage for the essential elements to be with you always.
This is the display control for the battery levels, voltage and energy.
This project was designed from scratch, there was no previous elements built, the seat, the frame, the tyres, front suspension, rear suspension, rims, lights, front lamp, hubs, etc, all this I had to model it from the beginning. Many elements came from similar models and help together with what I was given to understand the aesthetics of the Cafe Racer family. Building a bike like this brings many troubles like the analysis of all the proportions, and having a custom bike where you don't know much, and you rely on investigating by yourself, this becomes a challenge. The result perhaps is a very polished bike, two versions one more expensive and the other one cheaper for production using another kind of frame. The love for the bikes is unique and once I spent weeks learning the many custom bikes of the world through history, I have to say I was ready to start building what would be seen by the render camera, and after having that I was able to start the design of the body chassis.
Model Electric Cafe Racer 2 - is designed with the needs in mind, "Protection", "Design", "Useful","Economic". Build over a Honda 125cc Cafe Racer, with an electric motor, the bike will have a second alternative body, build with steel or aluminum. The idea is to have a second compelling design that won't requires expensive molds to be produced. Following the inspiration of many concept bikes, I build a three-part structure; the front grill also bigger and more aggressive with an air intake in mind. The sides for the concept show an alternate idea of a second air intake to propose the possibilities of more elements that might be useful on the side for the bike. The plastics are flat and simple but, it has style and protection in mind.
