Website Design
The website for World Elephant Day's annual concert began with three different variations of music genres and themes. Each mood board had a significantly different feel and approach to it. The original goal was to design and select themes which would most effectively increase support and enrollment for Asian and African Elephants.
Three mood boards in different genres requested. Classical- Pop/Hip-hop - Indie
Selected above is the final mood board for World Elephant Day website.
The mood board with the most promise for being successful for the Elephant Day Event was the center mood board for the Pop/ Hip - Hop/ Rock concert. The opportunities presented made it the best choice to move forward. Keeping high energy, modern music, and support for the elephants in mind, a continuous scrolling website was framed out using wireframes.  From the wireframes, the next step created detailed sketches of the website.
Continuous wireframe layout for the website
Website Sketch based on wireframe
The wireframes and sketches shown above are actually part of the same webpage. Rather than having multiple pages, this website has one page with all of the pertinent information placed on it. Images, information, and the ability to purchase tickets are all available without having to navigate through potentially confusing pages. As a result the following comprehensive was created. Drawing upon the moodboard, the comps color scheme is energetic and the imagery of the artists/concert keep young visitors interested and on the page. Links placed over the page move visitors up and down the page without having to scroll. Social media links placed on the page allow for visitors to share the event with ease. The website is designed to be easy, informative, and engaging.
