Bulan: Your face is grumpy. Please let me teach you to smile!

Sid: My face has always been like this, Bubu.

Bulan: Ahhh?! Why Bubu?! eeek!

Sid: Awww! My cheeks! What do you like then? Lanlan?

If you don’t know who are these two, they are Bulan and Sidapa. Bulan is one of the seven moon deities of ancient Philippines, particularly in the Visayan region. He is the androgynous moon boy who went down to Earth due to his fear of being eaten by the Sea Serpent Bakunawa. Sidapa is the God of Afterlife as is so in love with the moons he did everything just to capture their hearts. He even ordered the plants to bloom their most fragrant flowers so that it’s endearing smell reach the heavens, he also ordered the mermaids to sing the most beautiful song, and gave fire to the bugs and was turned into firefly to guide them towards him. When Sidapa saw Bulan, he made him his lover. Up until now, it is said that Bulan and Sidapa are still living happily with each other on top of the tallest mountain in the Visayas.
